Why the App Is Not on Google Play
Many users notice that the a9today app is not listed on the Google Play Store. This is because Google maintains strict policies that restrict real-money casino applications in most regional markets, including Malaysia. Because of these store-level restrictions, we provide the APK file directly through our official website. This is the standard industry practice for gaming platforms and allows us to deliver the full experience without the limitations imposed by third-party app stores.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the app not on Google Play?
Google Play has policies that restrict real-money gaming apps in many regions. To ensure Malaysian users can still access our platform on Android, we provide the official APK download directly via our website, which is a standard practice for this industry.
Is it safe to install an APK from a website?
Downloading from the official a9today domain is the correct way to get the app. The "Unknown Sources" warning is a default Android security feature for any app not installed via the Play Store; it does not mean the file is malicious.
Can I use the same account as the website?
Yes, the app and the website are connected to the same server. Your balance, login details, and game history are synchronized in real-time, so you can switch between devices without any loss of data.
How do I update the app?
Updates are managed internally. When a new build is released, the app will usually notify you with a prompt to update. You can also return to this download page to get the most recent version of the APK.
Does the app use a lot of mobile data?
The app is optimized to be data-efficient. While the initial download requires a stable connection, daily usage is similar to browsing the mobile website, as it primarily streams game data from our servers.
What if the installation is blocked by my phone?
This usually happens because "Install from Unknown Sources" is disabled. Please visit your device's Security settings to grant permission to your browser, then try launching the APK file again.
